"Visions" is out now!

For our second song, we are joined by Rebecca Mimiaga of LOUIZA (louiza.bandcamp.com/music), providing her captivating singing, vocal arrangement, and keyboard talents. Burt Hashiguchi, Marc Martell, Ryan Gates, and MJ Gurulé reprise their roles from "Dying Day."

About the lyrics and the artwork

The song deals with mysticism and the ambiguity of divine visitation: as the mystic receiving heavenly messages, a previously unknowable truth is now gloriously revealed; to everyone else around them, they may appear to be suffering from a mental break with reality. It is unknown whether the narrator of the song is modern-day mystic a la Hildegard von Bingen, or a person in need of psychiatric care. Because of the latter scenario, I imagined interviews with doctors where Rorschach inkblots morphed into supernatural beings. Thus, I became fixated on the idea of the "Rorschach Angels."
